We drove 3.5 hrs to eat the Famous Krystal burgers. We grew up eating these in TN. They are oddly good. Not much burger but the buns and steaming onions mixed with the perfect amount of mustard and 1 slice of tangy pickle just makes you crave a Krystal burger. We bought 24 to go also. We will be back any time we are in the area.
My wife and I came here from Mabank just to have some Krystal Burgers. The square moist buns with a splash of mustard and of course the grilled onions for that distinct flavor. Loved every bite as I reminisced about how when I was a kid, I could get 5 Krystal Burgers with small fries and a small soda for 99 cents. Hopefully, there will be more Krystals in the future in Texas again.
I drove 1 hour and 30 minutes from Dallas to Tyler just for Krystal's! The food was made to order, it was fresh and served hot. I ordered 2 regular sliders, 2 cheeseburgers, tator tots, and a chili dog pup. Everything was delicious and received fast, friendly service! 💯
We made the drive up from Houston and Krystal did not disappoint. It was the same nostalgic flavor. It had been a over 15 years since I'd had them. IYKYK
I dropped in on 11.13.25 & was VERY impressed! Growing up on the east coast had me eating Krystals for decades & this location delivered! Burgers were great & buns were moist. Fries were good too. VERY clean location & staff was prompt, friendly & courteous. It's a 2-hour drive from where I live in Dallas, but I will definitely stop in when I'm in the area.
I see some reviews where I'm not certain that the poster knows what they're getting when they order Krystal burgers. This is not the proverbial big burger you're going to find at that one joint in town, which is why you order a few of them. I was out in East Texas recently, and news of this store's opening made me add it to my itinerary. I'm from White Castle territory, but these are more like what we had in Detroit from Top Hat, but they do scratch the itch better than that box you get in the freezer section at the supermarket. Lisa behind the counter was very nice, and when the computer misbehaved on a simple order, she outfoxed it and everybody went away happy. My burgers and tots were nice and fresh, so welcome back to Texas after having been away for so many years.
If you’re looking for an incredible burger at a very affordable price, then look further, cuz this ain’t it😂 I got talked into trying this place against my better judgement but here we are. If you’re one of those people who wants to jump in and say, “It’s an acquired taste,” then congrats on acquiring Stockholm Syndrome. Therapy is only a copay away. To be fair, it wasn’t completely horrible. The burger had all the visual appeal of a middle school science project and tasted like it had been seasoned with disappointment. Aside from the lackluster taste and abysmal appearance, the wait was crazy for these Temu White Castle burgers. We ended up waiting 30 minutes. At least the fries were hot though. Speaking of fries. Those weren’t half bad. Even the water had a funny taste to it. Like it was fresh squeezed from a garden hose. If you truly want an amazing burger, stay tuned for my next review. If you like to live on the edge and you really don’t value your life, then head on over to Krystal’s and give them a try.
Literally the most disgusting food I've ever eaten at a restaurant! Thin grey nasty patty on a soggy sweet roll and the chili is horrid! I had the horrible taste in my mouth for hours. My stomach even gave me the signal that it was not edible!
